Are these "for all grass types" better or less effective that those that specifically target a grass type?

I just did one this month; can I do this in November or would that be too late?

It a little early to be using this. Around Labor Day weekend I overseed and apply Scotts lawn food. I'm in NY, I apply Winterguard end of September and again 3-weeks after. I follow Scott's 4 step program plus I add other Milo as well. Lawn looks a million times better then the landscapers I've tried over the years.

I usually get Scott's Weed and Feed for fall/winter. I wonder how much difference
it actually makes just feeding?

best for weed and feed from memorial day through August in my part of the world. Weeds are not actively growing in fall.

My local Hardware store has the Green Thumb brand of winter guard for $43 for a 15,000sqft bag. That is a decent price for the Scotts brand though.

high in nitrogen. apply max 0.3lb N/1ksqft per app. better to do twice a week than all in 1 go. .32lbN is 1lb of this.
