It is what it is.

Also, I just realized it's $700 at Amazon at the moment, which is a slick deals post on here. Definitely just wanting to be helpful, I would have probably purchased from Amazon. Costco does have some higher quality customer service though / returns etc.

I'll look into a protection plan.

A 1000R curve is a good thing in a big monitor like this, right? That way it's in your field of vision without much head movement needed.

GPT laid it out for me.. if you sit about 1 meter away, its perfect. reddit sentiment is mostly positive, some just don't prefer it. Others find they Love it. May depend on the tasks you'll use it for.. ask GPT to read what redditors say,

Also, GPT or google for settings on how to make it re-fresh, or pixel-shift. the OLED is known for potential screen burn in the long-run and they have created programs in the monitor to help prevent that... just read up, and remember to setup those programs so that it refreshes itself and pixel shifts

This is an LCD, not OLED. You're relying too much on AI.

VA panel for this one - no burn in, but less desirable in many other respects

Yes for this size having 1000R is better than 1500R or 1800R. It will feel it wraps around you reasonably. I chuckle when I see a monitor that is 32 or 27 inch and has a 1000R curve as if they assume the user looks at their monitor from less than a foot a way lol

I have the Neo (mini led) variant of this, the 1000R curve is great and a reason to stick with the LCD over the OLED version. Works well in a corner type desk too.

The ~$700 price range is how low I have seen this version go for before.

is the this or the old version better? mainly using it for gaming and work from home that's about it.
