I tried a wired mouse again after many years. I told myself that having the wired mouse was fine because it would be an excellent mouse for gaming (Logitech g502 hero). After a year of frustration with a stupid cord, I finally shelved it and went back to my g305 lightspeed wireless mouse. Of all things, wired mice are dead to me.
Enjoy the constant battery purchases.
