If you're into the DeWalt 20v ecosystem and on the fence, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

According to my account history, bought one almost 2 years ago. Wife uses it for the upstairs bathroom and hard floors. After the old dyson stick vac used for the bottom floor bathroom and laundry room wouldn't hold a charge anymore, she told me to get another when it's on sale again.

no battery.
So does that mean you have to use it plugged likely, or it has an internal one? Would you recommend picking this up or is there a better alternative?

This is battery operated but you have to supply your own battery. If you have other Dewalt tools than any of the 20v batteries will work.

Oh so I've got to buy a battery separate? Rather not deal with that till it's a little cheaper. Prob see if I can get it used.

My wife teased me at first for buying this, saying it was just another symptom of my Slickdeals addiction...until she started using it for everything. Around the kitchen to clean up small messes, suck up random bugs, clean her car out (JK, I'm the one doing that). We love this thing, and she asks me to grab it from the closet constantly. Granted, I was already in the DeWalt ecosystem so had plenty of batteries.

Also picked up cheap replacement filters + prefilters on Amazon, good to have on hand.

I have two of them. They are excellent. Loud, but excellent.

I bought this a year ago, I've used it a few times... my least favorite dewalt tool and the only one I plan to part w/. If anybody wants a very lightly used one, I have one for sale.

I don't like the tiny canister size. Drains a 6ah battery if you're trying to vacuum car. If you compare this to a shark or dyson w/ built in rechargeable batteryies, they win every time. Only advantage is I have dozens of 20v dewalt tools already.
