LG partner store deals are the equivalent to Micro Center deals, sweet deals but can't utilize them

Yeah even their regular store is highly region dependent. They won't ship anything large to my zip code and can't do in-store Best Buy pickup.

Lg really bombed the C5 vs the C4.. Yeah the C5 is 10-15% brighter which wont be noticeable by most but the C5 uses a WHOPPING 50% more electricty then the C4.. A major fail LG........ How do you go from 200w to north of 300w?.. major fail I'll go with the c4.........Plus those who need it no DTS pass through on the C5...

"The C5 consumes a maximum of 331W of power, which is a lot more than the 215W maximum that the 2024 LG C4 OLED consumes."

I'd guess that extra little of brightness is what's driving the increase in maximum consumption. It's the same thing with CPU power draw. If you don't run it absolutely maxed out the average consumption will likely be the same across the C4 and C5.

oleds have never been that efficient but that's as ok as the were not terrible, however, with electricity rates just jumping another 20% by me, the C5 is going to use much more electricity then the C4. C5 consumption is down right high! If your watching even on regular brightness it's going to cost much more then the C4. I'm sure Lg could have designed this to be more efficient, etc buy that would cost more and they always have a price point to meet. So, 83" C4 for me and when you go to 77" or 83", you know the electricity amounts are going to be on the high end of the ranges for these tv's for that size. your not going to catch Lg bragging about the power consumption on these c5's! that's for sure.. I wonder if there is a significant increase ins power use between the G4 & G5 now?

My really old LG OLED55B6P has some burn in on the screen. it's that damn Youtube logo in the upper right corner and the tach/speed rings from GT7.
I want to upgrade to this C5 but should i be worried about burn in still???

Yes, you should .. if anyone tells you otherwise they have no clue what there talking about. While the tech has gotten better to mitigate burn in on oleds, if you leave anything long enough "static" on an oled screen it will burn in.
