I dusted off my login information (longtime SDer, back from FW days, but almost never post). I can confirm DACK often has great prices--but I'm here to make a record about their AWFUL practices. Even disclosing long ship times doesn't reveal the full story. On two occasions I've ordered things from them that shipped well beyond the projected window, both of which arrived damage and beyond the time-frame for chargebacks, and left to me to initiate warranty claims with mfg despite damage clearing coming from shipping (they don't repack often, so "shelf" packaging becomes mailed packaging. Hilarity ensues). A third order (and final strike) was one a multi-item order, when they claim all items being in stock, disclaimed their slow shipping, two months go by--surprise! all lies. Actually never in stock and then they couldn't acquire one of the items at the price I'd purchased it from and didn't want to honor the free shipping used on original order. Took another month for my refund to post.
Then they hid behind their religious leanings to urge me to forgive and forget.

Never again.
Here to post a similar experience when purchasing a firearm. Picked from a list of FFLs on file, then they say then need the FFL sent again - so arranged for it to be resent. Waited more than a month(after they receive the FFL) then reached out again, they then say it will ship in 10 days and it doesn't. Was able to get refunded but not happy with the process and the extra time spent easily exceeded any money potentially saved.
some really great prices on knives that never sell for these prices new, but based on the other SD'ers here I'm not sure it's worth the hassle to save a few bucks.
There was a time when waiting a couple weeks for something you ordered online was no big deal, but that time is long gone.
Got a bit to excited an ordered a Spyderco Para 3 Salt Yellow CPM. Under $100 shipped is a great price. It says its in stock, fingers crossed that is true. Lets see if I come to regret impulse purchase.

Yeah when it comes to gun deals I would rather stick with local or go directly from manufacturer, like PSA. Couldn't imagine waiting for a gun in the mail even from a big retailer like Bass Pro
