I've had this for a week from the Wayfair deal, and it's been great. The first run of descaling took a while and didn't work until I was just about to call support, but after I dialed it in, I'm really pleased with the results. The portafilter and tamp are wayyy better than shitting else you'd get at this price

Seems like the build in grinder ain't good enough? many of them said the ground ain't fine enough even in the highest setting...

well, it's the descale process, but it's just a passthrough setting that is typically reserved for descaling. I believe it's just used as the mandatory first run-through to clear the system of anything and ensure no leaks

breville bambino plus is the best under $500 I would say if you don't wanna tinker too much with your machine, you can find it on sale for $300 fairly often.

The static on this is the problem as well as an inconsistent grinder. It woudl be just as cheap is not chepaer to get a separate grinder and a casabrews espresso machine. This was supposed to compete with the Breville Barista Express but the grinder issue makes it a fail.
