when u find a killer deal like the HP laptop for $120 don't ruin it for everybody by ordering 10 at a time on one order. that will flag their internal audit and screw it for all of us. cancellations for obvious mistakes are to be expected but don't make it easy for them. be nice and order 1 per order. if u need 10 buy it 10 different times. we all have multiple credit cards.

You are not seeing the whole picture, and are not going to change the greed of any reseller.
This would be canceled, regardless, other than maybe a few slipping through until their total number of sales went viral.
It was not some Amazon-like algorithm with a lower-than-normal price. It was a huge error. If thousands order 1, it is the same flag as hundreds ordering many each. Once it hit any deal site, especially here, it was going to die quickly.
I tried for one, site glitching, tried again and it added a 2nd one to my cart. Site was still glitching, but eventually it let me check out with two in my cart. Had I removed one, I might never have gotten through checkout, so I did not jinx it. Figured I could make a great gift of one if they shipped.
This should never have fostered the expectation to ship at the error price by anyone, but you gotta play to win. Once in a while, miracles happen. Your idea would have prolonged stock levels, BUT caused longer site delays and glitches for everyone, trying to get one at a time, while doing nothing to prevent HP from noticing the situation.
It was a nightmare getting one order in. I do not even want to read the thread to see how many actually got an order shipped.
So don't spoil that here, please. Some of them may be bragging, some may be lying. But FOMO is real.
The moment I got the order placed, I wished I'd chosen and paid extra for expedited shipping, just in the hopes that my order got processed before the flags hit. But it likely would not have mattered. I was not an early bird to the deal.
