Target In-Store Clearance Scan (YMMV)

This is an experimental post. I scanned every clearance tag in my local Target, used OCR to extract the details, and automatically generated this listing. Because this process is automated, there might be errors (I did spot check several, and for the most part seemed to match up). This is a test to see if this method can help us find some good deals!
My assumption is , due to the large amount of clearance items in my store, they are doing a seasonal reset and hopefully more stores will have these deals !

A few important notes:
  • Many of these clearance prices are in-store only and will not be reflected on Target's website. The Target links provided will take you to a search page for the DPCI, not the direct product page. You will have to click into the actual item.
  • To help you check local stock and pricing, a Brickseek link is included for every item.
  • ALL deals from this list will be added to the wiki here: Target Clearance Wiki. This wiki serves as the full data log and is intended to avoid setting off excessive deal alerts for YMMV deals.

Yea, it's basically an experiment to see if it could work. The ocr did an amazing job, but the barcodes didn't scan quite right. I was pleasantly surprised about how many did match the DPCI. I took a bunch of pictures of the yellow tags last night and threw them at the python wall to the if any would stick. Anyway, hopefully there is something good in there for someone.

It's a shame the in-store scanner now is a crapshoot for clearance. There's like 4 different outcomes and only one of them is helpful (actual price). Half of the time it's See Team Member for Pricing. Doesn't matter what the clearance level is (30/50/70)
