I'm having a hard time making a choice and I really just want the best value for what I'm spending. I'm also open to other recommendations if anybody has them!

Are you gaming? I don't see any obvious spec differences between the one you linked and what Dr. W linked. Main thing is one has OLED and the other IPS, but both based on specs are good panels. OLED will probably look better, but IPS won't have to worry about burn in.
BUT given that you are worried about value, I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding the ACER or MSI offerings. Generally people worried about value aren't replacing their laptops every 12-18 months, in which case the build quality of both brands is not likely to hold up for 3+ years for normal users imo.
IF you can afford it, the Legion Pro 7 over here from Dr. W is a MASSIVE step up in quality compared to either of these ACERs. Spec wise on paper they look similar, but I THINK this ACER is one that can't turn off the DGPU which means battery life with normal internet browsing and stuff is sub 2 hours. The Legion is pretty close to pinnacle for build quality, things feel like a tank but don't weigh as much as one. Should get 6+ hours of battery life etc.
If that is out of your budget I would personally rather get a 5070 from a better brand than a 5070 ti from a brand whose laptops feel flimsy as hell like they want to fall apart.

Jeeze, I did a lot of googling trying to figure out the differences between them and just couldn't find anyone talking about them and AI was predictably useless. Acer kind of sucks at naming it seems.
Do you know if this one has the ability to turn the 5070 when off wall power?
No problem, IDK if the Legion is 600 better even as someone who prefers them. I just don't know that I would trust a Acer to make 4-5 years of use, after having messed with them in person at microcenter. Course this thread is about a microcenter deal, in store only, so why not go in store and see what I'm talking about and see if it bothers you. To me the lid felt terribly weak and like I would break it opening it which wasn't great for brand new. Weakest lid I've ever seen.
Also random thing that would keep me from the Legion Pro 7 as it's a dealbreaker for me, I want rear power and HDMI ports at a minimum. Not having them out the side is so so so much more convenient, also seems to have better longevity since working on the couch the cord just gets pulled out instead of dragging the laptop off your lap/putting strain on the side power.
Currently using a Legion Pro 5 from the 3070 generation and it's been easily the best laptop I have ever owned. So much so that 3.5 years later I keep trying to find a reason to upgrade and... just really can't lol.
