specific hot deals at a drug or grocery store are often shared here in HD. been that way for years and years.
That said, you didn't get an initial 'we got your order' email? Usually you get that and then the order confirmation later on.
You can always call the store and check on your order, it's possible they haven't or couldn't fill it on their end.
If nothing gets packed at the store, the pending will fall off your credit card.

There is a drugstore forum with a dedicated CVS thread in it. Shouldn't this be in there?

As for 'why would you pay" if you have a family of 4 or 5 people, you likely go through 4 tubes a month, and many have extra bucks to roll (they do expire in 30 days), so better to roll them on something you actually need and pay little or no oop. I used $6 in ECB today, will get $4 back, works for me.

But you could get 3 tubes of Crest, 2 tubes of Colgate, and a Eucerin lotion for a $5 money maker yesterday. Why would you pay $2 for 3 tubes of Crest today? If you have a CVS card that gets good coupons, 2 tubes of Crest are free this week.
Where do you see two tubes being free this week?

A $5 money maker means that you pay $5 and get $10 EB back. If you have $5 EB from another deal, you can use it to pay. For your $5, you'll get 5 tubes of toothpaste and a lotion plus $10 EB. The deal ended yesterday and had been going on for 2 weeks as part of the Epic Beauty promotion. The deal wasn't spelled out. You had to figure it out.
My point is $1 per toothpaste is nothing to get excited about. You should always try for free or better and the max I would pay is 50 cents even if I'm getting a $10 tube.

Those $2/7 extra CVS Q's are very YMMV, great if you have it but I didn't. As for totally free crest TP I've found it is hard to score free Crest TP of late, usually running .50-$1 per after rewards back at CVS or Walgreens. Colgate deals are easier to come by, but as I said in another post, I think Crest is a better product overall, so I'll pay .50-$1 a tube if I have to, but typically only by rolling existing rewards so my OOP is minimal or zip.

If your just shopping because you NEED it cheap is great.
If you are a wannabe extreme couponer then free or MM is the goal.
