Had nothing but bad experiences with Seagate. Drives that die in 2 years on average.

Holy crap, what are people using so much storage for?
Plex.
Do you rip BDs to it or is there a way to save movies from places like Netflix etc? I paid for PlayOn service but they took the money for lifetime service, then limited the service! If you rip discs, is handbrake still the preferred method?

You are correct, add to cart to see discount
I love WD, but they NEVER let you stack coupons anymore. No sign up bonus, no student discounts, nada.

$700 isn't bad at all for 2 x 22tb especially with everything that's going on economically, so I will likely pull the trigger as I'm down to my last 8tb!
With synology requiring their branded drives now, do we expect other drive manufacturers to drop the price just to push people away from the synology NAS systems? They just released their x25 and xx25+ models, and everyone is complaining about drive requirement.

Dang. They must refresh their prices at 9PM PST. I saw the discount, had it in my cart, was about to check out and it disappeared at 9:01PM. Came back and the more you buy discount was also gone from the page. Oh well.
Try again. I just bought them.

Been waiting for a decent deal on the 22TB. I purchased Red Pros before and they are very similar to Gold/Ultrastar in specs, performance, and noise.
The extra year warranty is also a plus.

So I was going to wait to see if I can chat with someone today about a discount. The 2 x $350 for $700 is now gone I believe, showing $760.

I was able to check out today for a 18TB today for $270 for just one.

I added it to cart yesterday and it stayed in my cart at $270 for just one.

Was hoping to use the 15% recycle coupon but apparently those expire after a month or two, also not even sure that coupon would work

I bought 6 18TB a few years ago at $280 each so this is a good price, given all the rise in prices over the last few years

Dead. Price for 18tb is now 329.99 in cart. $50 for Buy More, Save More promotion is still there, but that's it. Cheaper on Amazon currently.
