I have been using this keyboard for many years, and recently AI hit the scene, and Logitech added an AI prompt function to this keyboard, instantly upgrading it! Highly recommend this keyboard if you are looking for one

what does it exactly do? Okay i searched it but it does not look like it will integrate with tablets and phones, only windows computers?

It works as a keyboard fpr tablets and phones, includes a kind of slot to stand them in. You can three BT or Logitech dongle devices and switch between them. I've moved into mechanical keyboards, but this is a great keyboard for multiple devices

I own this keyboard. It works great for my iPhone. Unfortunately, I bought it for use on my corporate laptop using the dongle. But this requires a driver to be loaded on the laptop. That's a hard stop on a corporate laptop. If it just interacted as a regular. Keyboard attached to the Logitech dongle there would be no problem. I love the looking feel of this keyboard. I just can't use it as intended.

Thank you. I was getting ready to dig into this one and potentially pull the trigger on it. The need to install drivers on the target device is a non-starter for me and probably anyone wanting to use this with a work laptop.

It's been a while since I used this keyboard but I did for years, I don't think installing the software is mandatory. I think you can pair it like any BT keyboard with three different devices. I used to use it to switch between a locked down work PC and a Mac and occasionally Linux and iPad and it just worked as a BT keyboard.

My corporate laptop is all kinds of locked, but I have been using this keyboard with it via BT and it works fine; same with my Logi Vertical Mouse.
You found it to be plug and play using the supplied dongle? If so, maybe I have a defective dongle. That really doesn't sound right -
Not all Logitech keyboard models are both Bluetooth and little orange gear symbol Logitech wireless via dongle but this one is. It will work with Bluetooth in the most locked down corporate environment. That's how I've been using a similar model keyboard and Mx2 mouse on my super locked down work laptop.

No. I found it to be plug and play using the laptop's internal Bluetooth chip, which most modern laptops have. No dongle.
I have this keyboard and it does connect to my windows laptops via bluetooth without any additional software, However, the top row of keys default to hot keys, and you need to install Logitech software to change the default behavior to standard F1-F12 keys.
ex. I use F2 all the time to rename files, and the default behavior on the white F2 key is to switch to device 2.
I was eventually able to get approval for my work laptop, but it was frustrating as hell before then. That aside, i do really love the keyboard!
