If people don't put ips/oled in the title, then 99% it's a va
Not even staff does it so everyone has to get used to it but yes, CHEAP CURVED ARE VA, OLED ARE x2 PRICE OR MORE, AND IPS ONLY HAVE A MILD 2300R CURVE AND NEVER LIKE THIS MORE CURVED 1500R.
I have this monitor and an older Alienware aw3418dw IPS ultrawide. I must say, for a VA panel, this new one is an amazing monitor. The only small issue I have with it is the gamma shift/black level raise on the vertical axis especially if I am sitting close to the screen (due to the curve I see none on the horizontal axis). It's very slight and might bug you but yea. However I get absolutely zero smearing of any kind and it's incredibly responsive for games. Colors are awesome too.
I also had bought the AOC CU34X2GP and that model was horrendous. Absolutely everything bad you hear about VA panels, that monitor had it. Smearing, poor viewing angles, color way off, etc. Not to mention the OSD menu was one of the worst designed things I've ever had the displeasure of using, and it would sometimes just reset itself to previous settings. Wild.
I have a prior version with the gsync module. The monitor has been fine but the screen has had delamination.
I contacted dell support about it. Sent pictures. Did all the things. They tried telling me it was physical damage and not covered by my warranty - which it's still under.
While it's been a fine monitor, I'll never buy another dell or Alienware product again just because I'm so irritated with their support.
I'm on a 3418DW monitor and the monitor is fantastic. Although the colors pop on the OLED which is tempting. i keep forcing myself to wait because i don't have any monitor issues.
