Used to get Panera coffee regularly. Once they started offering this, I noticed the coffee was incredibly watered down, and I'm not a coffee snob by any means, but no amount of cream or sugar could bring back the taste. I don't want to drink it even if it is free.

You should cancel during the 2nd month. If you cancel during the 1st month, membership will end at the end of 1st month.

Does the + trick work so it thinks you have a unique email?

I bit on this deal last October or November when it was 3 months free. Prior to that I hadn't stepped foot inside a Panera in over six years because their menu meal prices got out of control and then they discontinued everything I loved.

Since then I've enjoyed drinks almost every day, and occasionally 3-4 times a day. Hot teas and coffees when it's been cold, and iced coffees, sodas and teas when it's hot. I was pleasantly surprised to find that their seasonal fresh Strawberry Basil Lemonades this summer were included in the eligible drink list. Those would easily be $8+ anywhere else with their fresh strawberries and basil leaves, but free every two hours with Sip Club. I like that they have several drinks that are either made with agave or are low in sugar, it's not just sodas with high fructose corn syrup.

I think my total out of pocket for Sip Club membership has been around $20 for the entire year because they've extended my membership for free, sent me offers to buy $15 of food for free months, or offered $3.33/mo incentives to stay in the club the entire time I've had it.

Between their $2 bagels and pastry app deals, I've probably spent another $250 using those as quick breakfast/lunch/snacks. $2 for a snack and a large drink on the go is an incredible deal in this day and age.

Their prices for all other food are still absurd, and I hope they revisit why they think a bowl of soup should cost $8 and consider bringing back some of their classic offerings.

I've discovered over time that this is dependent on who is working that day for the locations I visit. 90% of the time the coffee is great - fresh, strong & hot, but there are a few of the same people who always seem to be working behind the counter when it's not. I imagine they are not coffee drinkers, or just aren't keeping up with the company standards. If this is the case, let them know so it can be corrected.

the time limited strawberry fresca drink is the only one I get now. I assume it will drop off the menu soon this fall making the sip club much less valuable if you don't drink coffee

Wow.

Still haven't learned the google email tricks?

[email protected] = [email protected]

Just move the dots to a new spot and its still a new email. There's also the +XYZ trick but I haven't had to use that yet either and you can also use the +XYZ and the dot trick together to make "new" emails.

And no, they haven't caught on AS i just got another 2 free months and I've been doing this since it came out so I'm on like my 10th dot or something.

Also, its easier to do this in the PC/web page than on the mobile app. It's funky in the mobile app for me at least.

can you sign up and cancel auto renewal in few mins keeping 2 months free?
You should delay the cancelling as long as possible to take advantage of their sip club deals for pastries/cookies, bagels, and sandwiches.
Once you cancel, the deals pop up, but you cannot use them.
Also, many times, they'll offer you a deal to stay (e.g., $3/mo for 3 months).
Put an alarm on your phone for like 1-2 weeks before they actually charge you in month 3. The date is shown under your Sip Club profile on the app.

A couple notes from my experience being a Sip Club member for about 8 months.

-Yes, using a separate email address was all it took to be a "new member"
- No, my the coffee is not watered down - its the same commercial coffee "puck" and large carafe water amount as it has been
- The value duet is the best value lunch hands down, especially with sip club. $6.99 for smallish sandwich and cup of soup with bread hunk. Free drink and add half price cookie for $1.60 and you have a hearty lunch for under $10. Ironically, the second best value in lunch has been Chili's with their $10 burger, side and fries.
- rewards accrue for spending over $35/month like free cookies/etc. Occassional discounts on other things like $2 off salads.
-sip club coupon codes are floating out there that have re-upped my membership for free/cheap. I haven't paid more than $4 for any month membership

having the sip club membership does encourage one to go there more often! Normally I used to go there like three times a year....now I go there three times a week! But noticed that their food is getting a little tiring. My favorite drink of choice is the Hibiscus Pomegranate iced tea.

I have been doing this deal for over three years and will roll it another two months. I have two locations that know me by name and are always friendly. 95% of the time I order in the kiosk or on the app as I know which email address to use at that time.I keep track of my Panera accounts, emails used, especially the expiration dates and always cancel before they renew. I also take advantage of the $1 bagels which come up every so often. I even got a $7 off of $10 last week and picked up 5 bagels for $2.95 (I paid with a 20% off gift card so it was even cheaper.)Bubbly is my drink of choice.
Pretty much do and have done the same

That isn't what Slickdeals is about. It's not about gaming the system. Panera is offering this as a deal to get new people to try the Sip Club. People like you ruin things for others.

Off and on they have a deal for returning subscribers. It's such a great service. Why cheat them?
Panera offers the deal as a loss leader to get people in the door or forget to cancel the membership. They are fully aware a certain percentage of the market is "cheating" and would implement something as simple as phone number verification if they truly cared.

What really ruins things for others is private equity. Prices up, portions and quality down.
