remember when these were only $2-$3 a few years ago, good times

do they actually import chemicals like this?

btw since when in the USA do manufacturers get to skip listing ingredients?

It's ammonia. It's listed right on the front of the bottle. Also has a bit of washing soda and baking soda in it.

The one from Costco gave me the worse rashes that would last a few days. Needed to wash everything again several times and used dawn with laundry detergent.

I've been using their green label(sports) version for a while on all my athletic, work clothes, bedding, bath towels with very good success. It's the only scent we like.

It does advise for sensitive skins consult a Dr first. FYI:You're supposed to put it in your fabric softener compartment or rinse cycle. It's not intended/designed to be mixed in with your laundry detergent. The cap has markings for standard machines(1/taller) and HE/front load(2/shorter).Calls for 2 capfuls but the only time I use 2 is very large loads like bedding or towels. If you use too much it can irritate your skin. You might want to try Oxi Cleans Odor Blaster, works fairly well also. Now that you do mix with your laundry detergent.

Not cheaper per oz compared to Costco's normal sale price.

Costco's sale price is $0.08 per oz ($12.99 at 150oz) while this is $0.09 per oz.

Unless you need it, I would hold off. Lysol laundry santizer goes on sale at least twice a year at Costco.

Is there a way to replicate this at home for cheap?

Same issues here, this stuff is rough on the skin. If you have ANY skin problems, avoid this if possible.

I did use lysol during the rinse cycle. I initially used 1 cap for my Standard washer and then realized it said to use to. After using 2 cap fulls the rashes were so bad I wouldn't wish them upon my enemies.I so use oxiclean with my detergent. I bought downy rinse to test out (also from Costco). Still traumatized from the Lysol though. Thanks for the suggestions. I hope this helps others sort out thier issues.

Would be helpful if they explained/labeled what size a load was.Yikes we have HE washer and only use one cap to that taller(1) line on very large loads of towels and bedding!Couldn't imagine two of them on much smaller loads of clothes! It says its concentrate, that it is.You do not need much of it.

We use the unscented one on all the kids' stuff (blankets and sheets) from daycare and any thing that is contaminated during our 8 month old's blowouts. We like it... we all have pretty sensitive skin and have not had any issues. I just pour it into the fabric softener slot and fill it to the max line
