Retailers will often get both Type 1 and Type 2. There's no way to know ahead of time if ordering online.

a company that's been around for such a long time doesn't want to update the name to make it easier for people to distinguish which versions they have.....nonetheless





  • Check the manual trademark date: A v2 unit's manual may have a newer trademark date (e.g., 2019) compared to the 2018-2019 date on a v1 manual.

Depends on usage. You can get a basic 2ah and fare just fine. I keep it in my vehicle and use the car adapter at least half the time.
