i prefer to have a number of small 5 port poe switches as they can be staged more local to where they need to be vs one big expensive switch just in case there is a power surge and/or lightening strike. id rather lose a couple of $30-40 5 port poe switches vs a more expensive $100+ switch and risk more attached to it. also, you are getting more poe power with a smaller switch vs a larger switch.
