This particular model has HDMI 2.0 bandwidth (there can be "HDMI 2.1" ports that don't actually support 48gbps, thank VESA for that), it's limited to 144hz over HDMI.

The newer AW2725D model has two actual HDMI 2.1 ports and can do 280hz without any compression. I bought that instead as I personally value that over 360hz, but user preference.

It's also currently $530 at Dell, so a little cheaper than the DF.

If you play it in a pitch black room, it is. Otherwise the picture quality is garbage with the red tint and crushed contrast

I love this monitor. I play in the dark and in lighted room, it is excellent either way. No flickering issues, no tint issues, no dead pixels, never been inconvenienced by the pixel refresh feature, it seems to happen when I'm not gaming ever which is good. For this price, no-brainer. Get it. Don't listen to the haters. Dell's warranty on these is great too
