I believe the normal sale price is $54.99 shipped or $49.99 in-store, so this is a slightly better-than-normal sale.

If you're ever stuck buying regular price, Sam's now carries it for $61.38 or something. Copycats, but the competition is nice.

Anybody has some feedback on the Vanilla one? I recently but this chocolate flavor, but would be nice to also have Vanilla to take with Greek yogurt or other things.

I like it and it's the one I'm going with again since I like being able to add different kind of fruits to my protein shakes.

There's a little bit of chemical flavor to the vanilla one, IMO. Might not bother you if you're mixing it with things though. The s'mores flavor they temporarily had a few years ago was the best ON flavor I've had.

FWIW, I've pretty much switched over to unflavored whey isolate. Certainly not great tasting, but you can just chug it and be done with it. It mixes better and causes less stomach issues for me as well. If you get a real good sale at MyProtein it can be < $10/lb.

Agreed. I was at Costco yesterday and it was normal price so this sale is online-only, 1 day sale.

Miss pre-pandemic response when this was the price for twice as much powder. I'd be curious to see the math on just how much extra the average person has spent on goods and services the last 5 years. I'd guess we passed the short-term value of those stimulus checks a long time ago.

This might be confirmation bias, but I got the Vanilla one from the last sale a few weeks ago and it has become my FAVORITE Optimum Nutrition flavor. I've tried the Double Rich Chocolate and Extreme Milk Chocolate, but got so tired of them to the point where I couldn't stomach drinking them anymore. Yes, they tasted like chocolate, but the after/underlying flavor eventually got to me. I love the Vanilla so much, I went back the next day after trying it for the first day to get another bag to have in case there isn't another sale in time.

Optimum Nutrition used to be the absolute best. I would wait for black friday on bodybuilding.com and buy several tubs and at that time without the deal 5lbs was $42. Optimum Nutritions taste went to shit. Idk wth they did to the formula but all their flavors are absolute ass. I think thats why they went from the only game in town that everyone would buy from to what they are now

I usually buy Nutribio Dutch chocolate and tried this because it's literally half the price. I found the extreme chocolate to have a very chemical flavor compared to the natural flavors used on the Nutribio chocolate. That said, it is half the price and I'm finishing up a 5.5lb bag of this so it gets the job done.
