Highly recommend this.

I have one and I've yet to pull a good shot of espresso. I only recently called CS and they sent me a new burr. Still, espresso is bitter. Fresh beans, water quality is good, I've played with every setting. calling CS again soon to continue troubleshooting but I suspect I will need a new machine.

Espresso works great too, though it takes a little more attention. I use Starbucks Blonde Espresso, set the grind one notch finer than the recommended setting, and keep the heat on the lowest setting. I tamp once with the funnel, and then again without it. With that routine, I get a perfect pull every time.
