3 M.2 slots, but PCIE 4 for GPU (if that matters to you). ITX tax becoming less & less.

People buying Asus had problems and probably saying the same. 😆

Asus honoring warranty is hit or miss. do EVGA still make boards? they had the best warranty support

No. Unfortunately EVGA is more or less a sweet memory of better days, and yes, they were "the good one."

Negative, it clearly states PCIe 5.0:

L2R newbcake.
I'm afraid DougSaveAround is right. I checked Gigabytes website and only m.2 slot is pcie 5.0. GPU slot is 4.0B650I AORUS ULTRA Key Features | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global https://share.google/xRBxT0ea9UUTVja1W

I have a Gigabyte B650M already, working w/o issue on 7800x3D. I think this ITX board is a good deal but it will not future proof next gen GPU. The B650 chipset has PCIE gen 4 slot meaning there "maybe" some sacrifice when pairing with next gen GPU. The current gen GPU at least the mid range one aren't currently maxing out full bandwidth of PCIE gen 4 yet, but saturated gen 3. It is a gamble you will have to make.

PCI-E 4 is likely to be fine for a long time. Even a 5090 barely looses anything dropping down to PCI-E 4. Ironically, it's probably more likely to be a problem on something like a 5060 because the x8 slot halves the starting bandwidth available. Then dropping that down to PCI-E 4 or 3 has more impact. That seems to be one of the reasons the 8gb 9060XTs handle running out of memory better. They have a full 16x PCI-E bus so they have more bandwidth when they have to spill over the PCI-E bus. Even then, the simple solution is just to buy the 16gb cards. The 8gb cards are bad enough but when you combine them with older/slower PCI-E slots they really suffer.

I guess I don't understand the rationale here. Since it's itx, you have a very small motherboard and I assume small case. Is it realistic to be concerned about a pcie 5.0 gpu?

It can be done, that is what I am building right now myself. Even the 5090 isn't enough to saturate PCI 4. I wouldn't go with intel though. Not sure why people upvoting this so much when Intel doesn't beat AMD in any metric. Not in performance not in efficiency. Sadly, AMD is far better.
