You can put your legs up and down independently of the backrest, which goes back to full recline. It does have independent power recline and footrest.
There also a third button that restores both to sitting up at the same time.
That review is honestly stupid, I don't know what they're expecting. The headrest doesn't have flappy wings or anything. I guess some headrests can wrap around your head, like on an airplane? it's not a wing back chair clearly.
it's a glider so it goes forward and back, and swivels probably 270°. I find that you want your feet on the ground to glide or else you're trying to make the momentum with your torso which would be awkward while holding a baby. For what it's worth gliders are far more soothing a motion for babies.
