230w power supply seems under spec for this class of machine - most laptops with this class hardware have 300+ watt psus. Is the 4090 underpowered or does it consume battery while plugged in?
Other thing to note is that with RTX 4000 there is just one m.2 slot.

Im confused, the title has a 4090, and the specs list a 4090 below but the initial spec breakdown first says 4080. The link takes you to a 4080 laptop. Dr. W doesnt normally slip up like that so I am wondering if this was just a mistake? id love a 4090 laptop for $2100 but at that price a 4080 seems kinda bust.

There is a link under "Also available:" that goes to a 4080 for $2099. Further down there is a link to the 4090 @ $2199. (Maybe hard to see on the mobile app)

if you okay with fan noise that is.

i jumped on the 3080 thinkpad years ago (when the cost of desktop graphic card were bananas).
let's just say it is been gathering dust ever since i have a chance to get a GPU with decent price.
I understand there are situations you need a laptop with 4090 card, but consider the alternatives first if you don't need to carry a workstation laptop.
