little goes a long way with Bustelo... makes the same cup using only 2/3 what you would normally use to make the same strength cup with just about any other brands...that's the secret of why its the best value

Decent price considering the over all price increases but it's still ranks in the worst coffees I've ever tasted. It's not good as a hot brew, cold brew, mixer, k-cup... I talked some friends into taking bricks of it from the deal I bought it on but not a single one of them wanted more when offered. It has a lot of good reviews and people who like it I just apparently don't know any of them.

I don't really like brewed cafe bustelo, as it tastes too dark for me and just not very pleasant. However, I actually think their instant coffee is top-tier as far as instant goes.

Last October 12 lb at $2.30/lb. I'm about out and wish I would have caught this deal. I love Café Bustelo. I've been drinking it for about 9 years now, before it became popular and the price is 2.5x what it was then.

A lot of people who like it make it in a moka pot, and make traditional Cuban coffee from it. Basically they add a a few drops of the brewed coffee and add a ton of sugar to form a paste then coffee on top. It's good that way, and gets you going but it's likely the sugar that does it

Agree, I tried a brick after all the reviews. It was the worst tasting shit I ever drank, was worse than Folgers! LMAO

Haven't tried it for cuban coffee yet. I tried making vietnamese coffee with it which is a somewhat similar concept with condensed milk and it wasn't good for it. I guess any coffee is probably fine if you drown the flavor with enough sugar and other stuff so that makes sense.

That was my thoughts as well. I picked a brick of this up at Aldi. Tried a couple different ways. It was consistently revolting. If your idea of Coffee is to fill it with sugar and milk, yes, this will do the job. I go to a Cuban place every now and then and this is what they use for their coffees and in that setting it works. But really the Coffee is just there to support the cream and sugar.
