Is this laptop worth it at the price or should I wait for black Friday? It would be my first gaming laptop.

Edit: ignore what I said. I misread this as an rtx 50*8*0 laptop, not 5060 whoops!

This is a great deal if you are looking for something like this. High refresh OLED at 1440p, decent processor, enough RAM, and the 5060. These legions have had solid build quality for years. Definitely a quality choice that I wouldn't regret if I was in the market for a 5060 or under GPU in a laptop.

If you already own a decent laptop just Invest in a 6 month GeForceNOW membership when they go on sale for $30-40 ($5-6 a month)

Can look into the entire idea of cloud gaming in this yt video

I would add in here that you also get a free copy of BF6.

Sure thing, if you've got a blazing fast fiber connection that literally never goes out or slows down and you don't play games that require as little latency as possible. I, on the other hand, may need to do things like work, game, or run AI on a plane or in a rural area that doesn't offer such an internet connection. Maybe I just want to buy one laptop every 5 years or so and the i7 Pro with a 5070 Ti will do that.

I know you think you're smart and all with your hot take but, nah bro.

AMD 395 is the best Windows AI and Gaming for $1400 that runs 48gb-96gb llm for the next 5 years. They should hit below $2000 this year.
$700 gets you a good 4060 laptop that runs small 12gb AI LLM.
For $1500 aim for least 5080 16gb that runs 24gb llm

Will a 5060 be good to run Crysis at 720p, medium settings?

It's a very good deal at that price point; although if you wanted to, you can get the Legion 5i pro for just a couple of hundred more.
However, B&H has a very strict return policy, where they do not accept unsealed from original packaging computers and laptops. If you open this up and it ends up being a defective model, you won't be able to return this.
