FYI for those who do not have dual voltage devices.

From the product description:
Note: This power adapter is ONLY compatible with 100V to 240V Wide Voltage device. Your electric appliances such as hair dryer, hair straightener, electric shaver, electric toothbrush which need to support 100V-240V Dual Voltage for using in EU countries. This is NOT A VOLTAGE CONVERTER!

Not everyone is on the bleeding edge of technology or wants/needs to be. This would suit me fine if it were a converter and not just an adapter. While I can power my laptop and phones with USB-C to USB-C cables, I like to charge lower and slower in hopes of prolonging battery life. That was not a big issue when devices had removable batteries (which may be making a comeback in the EU). Most of my tech runs and/or charges just fine from a USB-A port.

That said, I do have 45W and 65W battery power supplies for my computer and phones for travel or commuting. I've also got a couple of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D47KQCM?th=1 - one of which delivers pure sine wave AC for some of the more picky applications. Both convert voltage as well as adapt the plug and, I like the form factor better.

To each his/her own.

I've been very pleased with this company's products. Would be in for one if it also converted at this price.

Agree about converter along with adapter. Do you have a link to such product?
Also, it's time to get rid of usb A stuff or phase out, not add new gadgets that puts you back in usb A mode !

I have a couple of those Bestek transformers as well -- used one in the UK earlier this year for the first time. I was very pleased with how it worked.

One note: it has a fan and makes an audible noise, though only just barely. Didn't bother me at all.

Glad to hear it. I had two ready to pack for a trip to the UK which fell through. Still planning to use them some time in the near future.

I'm sure a search (Amazon) would pop up several more modern versions.

There are times I wish I could part completely with USB A but, with some legacy devices around the house that simply cannot be replaced its not easy to do so. Case in point: my Harmony Remotes. USB A to mini USB and USB A to micro USB. I can certainly get around the USB A part with adapters but, to what end? Not sure when Logitech stopped making them. In May, they discontinued supporting the older ones. I have tried other products but can't reproduce the ease of use of them so, I'm stuck with mini and micro USB on one and and A on the other. And yes, I did travel with one. Staying in the same brand hotel limited the hotel TV brands to only a few. On the rare times there was a different brand, they are not hard to program. Besides, I'm a bit of a germaphobe and would rather use my own remote - knowing where the buttons are, by touch, is another plus.
