Battery life doesn't seem like something I want to worry about on a lock. Part of why I've been slow to change anything so far. Might work for some people at this price to experiment, but not for my household.

I've been using a set of these for about a year with Amazon Basics rechargeables. I've had to change the batteries on both maybe twice.
