They've stood by warranties for other products for me in the past. I've never had any connectivity or true voltage issues with any of their batteries, chargers, adapters, etc.
Going to need some proof as it relates to them being "junk."
Just because they charge more, doesn't always necessarily mean it's better quality. Plus they were caught selling customer's data and having breaches of their sister companies.
At the end of the day, no one's forcing you to buy their products, and it becomes more of an eye of the beholder and anecdotal accounts of people's experiences with them. They've been the up and coming new kid on the block, and I don't see that changing, they'll keep getting their share.
I've had one bad experience with them that was rectified and resolved, but until they fail consistently and repeatedly, I don't see any reason to pay 50%+ more for equivalent specs from other brands.

It's simpler than ever to build things in the US--you just have to do it.
Case in point is a company that makes front license plate adapters for people that don't want to permanently mount a plate on the front. Their competitors are farmed out to injection molding in china, but these guys just bought 8x industrial grade 3d printers and just makes them to order--no inventory and no lag time. Not only that but their pricing was in line with competitors but was faster to get because it was fully domestic. If one company can do it, others can do.
3d printing is extremely inefficient and very costly.
"no lag time". There is ZERO lag time if you already have the inventory. You will have lag time if you run on zero inventory, as you would need to print it AFTER receiving the order.
If it's so easy, why can't a simple scrubber be made in the US?

Sure, many of those are not 70W, but you can always use your favorite US power adapter
Personally I now buy industrial grade adapters like this [amazon.com] (last time ordered one and they sent two!) and a power strip that meets yours needs. Also gives you an extra 3-6ft of cable. I use this Anker [amazon.com] It's a more expensive route and a little bulkier but worry free.
I got my partner a new travel power strip from bestek [amazon.com] in the Spring when we went to Europe and it worked well and only $16 but only 20W PD if you're carrying a laptop.
