I have 7 of the bulbs around the house. I enjoy them, app is good, can set routines, etc.
The routines did kind of glitch a little previously, I believe due to the bridge connections. After a couple of unplugging, turning them on/off, corrected it.

In for a pack. Seems like a good deal. Wonder how they compare to the wiz and tplink currently in the house

I've tried a couple of RGB LED bulbs... while the color options are neat, the common complaint I've had is in white mode (aka - regular light bulb) I have found them lacking. I haven't tried these but 3 other kinds (tp-link and others). I keep them around for parties / movie night (both rarities at my age) but for regular lighting I use a regular 60w equivalent soft white LED bulbs.

I have multiple Cync products for my home and dove into their ecosystem. Personally have had major issues pairing many of them and often they never work in groups perfectly. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a smart home bulb.

I hate that I am going to buy these, but I am so far deep since Menards by me has all this stuff on clearance, except the bulbs.

I have the tunable white version of thesee bulbs for that exact reason. I used to have the color bulbs but never really used the colors, and the white shades were way off. The tunable white version is much more accurate.

I don't have any of the bulbs, but I do have 5 of the "no neutral wire required" switches. I have them set up in Google Home as my primary method of control and automation. About every 4 or 5 weeks Cync becomes unlinked with Google. The only way to resolve is to delete the devices from Google AND Cync and reconfigure them. First in the Cync app, then Google Home. This also means recreating all the Google Home routines and automations for them. It's pretty frustrating that it happens so regularly.

I'm not compelled to replace them yet, but in hindsight I'm wishing I spent the dosh and just started with the Lutron no-neutral switches.

The permissions the GE app wants from you to operate some lights is beyond ridiculous. Stay away from the app unless you just don't care about invasive technology and 24x7 data gathering Smilie (Some people don't believe it or not.) The bulbs themselves are as good as any other. Personally, I went back to Hue products - they just can't be beat (and the Hue app is only slightly less intrusive.)

I've actually had good luck with the govee bulbs... the white is pretty bright and haven't had any issues with their app

I bought 4 or so a few years ago, just regular tunable white ones... almost all are just used as on off bulbs now because they would keep dropping off of google home and would require a RIDICULOUS on/off process to reset them so you can add them back to the app. I still have one bulb in my google home that I literally can not delete unless I move to a different house apparently.

We just replaced 40 $engled bulbs with 40 Govee bulbs and it took less than two hours to set them all up. The quality of the app interface is so much better, I almost wish $engled would have failed sooner because the bulbs themselves just look better. They turn colors with a nice change over and respond way better.

I was a govee hater for a while but now I've got quite a few of their products ... definitely the best app for this kind of stuff

thats rough to read. thx for sharing.

i have some inherited (from previous owner) lutron and i'm almost to the point of believing they'd work in a blackout. they're that great, so far.
