Great deal, this comes with a hepa filter for fumes. Was considering this before the discount over the Centauri Carbon due to the filter.

Great price! Genuine question: Are they factoring in any tariffs?

This is basically Ender 3 sized build volume vs Bambu volume. The nice thing is many models were designed around the older 220x220. I've got the open frame 5M version. The only time I wanted for the size difference between 220 and 250 was when I was trying to print my own model as large as possible.

The up side to this printer vs CC is the good temperature/filtration system, good print quality, good Orca support and fast print speeds. This is also a fair bit cheaper than the CC ($273 vs $330).

Always go with bambu if you can afford it. It truly just works right out of the box.

It will work for you. Good price. I have a older model and it worked right out of the box. 1 1/2 years with no problems.

This would be a fine printer for a beginner. Like the BL printers, this one is very reliable in terms of not having to play games with feeding or leveling the bed etc. If, like me, you are going to keep the printer off the network then the primary advantage of the BL ecosystem is gone. The place where BL is really superior is their web/connected software. The down side is much of that benefit is lost if you refuse to let the BL printer phone home.

I would also note that as a beginner I would suggest that the FF 5M (non-pro) for $100 less was a really great deal. If you are primarily going to print materials like PLA then the enclosure isn't as important. Also for a bit less the Anycubic Kobra 3 + multi-material unit is a bit cheaper. Again, being an open printer it's not as good for advanced materials but the multi-color might be a nicer feature for your needs.
