I can't comment on longevity, but I prefer this over my waterpik. it's a more fluid stream vs waterpik does bigger pulses IMO. it may make zero difference to anyone else but for me it leads to better cleaning and so much less bleeding gums (which I honestly don't know is bad for me, but it can't be good 😂).

Every time my dentist stabs my gums with their tools of torture they screech HEALTHY GUMS DIDN'T BLEED!!!! Dunno if that applies to water based flossers or only metal instruments.
