all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.ph...12251I%27m not so sure. That 128GB internal is a deal breaker for me. I'd rather go with the Edge+ 2023.
thats too bad.

i think 128 is plenty for 90% + of population

on my 2023 mep2023 with 512, currently using 48

It's 68 pages for a reason - it unlocks immediately with a $3-5 unlock token.
So you can get the Edge + deal, get a new number and then use that to port in for this deal?

$119.99 for the Edge
then
$99.99 with port in (as opposed to $199.99 w/o port in) + $65 1st month = 164.99 S25 FE

$284.98 for both the Edge and S25 FE
Moto Edge from boost service provider and locked. Can we port out the locked phone service with the number to the Metro provider?

for $20 more, i would think this is better buy.
now if the s24fe were say 9.99, thats may be more appealing

All three of my daughters which are all teenagers take so many photos and videos and have apps installed that they maxed out 128 GB in about 2 months. That's why I had to buy phones with micro SD card support. The only way around that is by paying for a subscription to a photo backup service like Google Photos, Amazon Photos. so we ended up paying for the two terabyte Google plan to share it as a family. But even then unless they know how to go in and delete all the photos that have synced to the cloud their phones are still complaining that they're out of storage space. My wife is the same way. had to buy a 512 GB phone for her to not be constantly complaining about there being storage issues. My 512 GB phone has only 200 GB used. 🤷 I would say you're probably smarter than your average layperson on keeping your phone tidy.

Yeah I've been Android since the T-Mobile G1 and I have refused to buy my children Apple products. So they are ostracized in school as being the kids who have Samsung phones. Green bubble people! 🤣 But it seems like your average person doesn't think about the cloud sync of their photos and deleting the photo from local storage. Google photos will do it if you go through the prompts of "Saving Space" once you run out of storage. But even though I have coached my kids when software says "do you want to delete photos?" they automatically say no out of fear of losing their photos not realizing that they're are cloud synced. So even though my kids are crafty enough to figure out holes in Google's Family Link parental control monitoring they still don't understand how local versus cloud storage works. 🤦

Good job being weird about phones/brands to the point where you became a bad parent.

Buying a stream of undesirable Android devices (because the parent personally is partisan to Android) despite iPhones costing the same money (a 13 is $50, a 14 is $150, the 16e has been cheap as hell from Boost and so has the 15...) in exchange for things that matter to young people in the US - being able to share location with friends and see the location of friends and having full texting feaures

is, well...a choice. Not a great one.
Wow your kids must be so entitled...

My kids better be happy they have phones at all, regardless of the type.
