all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

Have dormant LG Fiesta 2 LGL164VL Android 7 (CDMA unlocked fromTracfone ) and LG Stylo LG-H631 Android 6 (GSM unlocked from T-Mobile) phones without service or phone number currently.

Was going to use Redpocket or InfiMobile to activate these to port in to Metro to get the Galaxy S25 FE. Both only support physical SIMs so was afraid deal could end before new service set up and ported away if have to get SIMs mailed to me.
As both unlocked, is there any pre-paid card available from Walmart, BestBuy or elsewhere that I can go buy today in store that is valid for the port in to Metro without a waiting period?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Your phone might be too old.

If you trust me, I can give you an IMEI of a TracFone that you can activate the $10 with autopay ($11 w/ tax).

I will then coordinate the port out request with you and TracFone. PM me.

So Ill ask this anyway.....Id like to get this or the Edge phone I currently have a 4 line plan with Metro so id like to "add" a line to get the deal ( So no unlocking concerns) Then swap it with my other phone on my plan then terminate the "new" line and keep the new phone etc.
Is this even possible and where do i get a number to port in from that will give the discount ??

Yes, that's possible. See below for port in number sources.

Port-in Number Sources

NOTE: Most carriers will require you to stay a certain period before porting out. Otherwise, they will give you a hard time. Visible is the most expensive but also the most flexible. You can port out on the same day with Visible and TracFone.

Visible ($19 - $25)
https://www.visible.com/shop/brin...own-device

Tracfone ($10 - $15)
https://www.tracfone.com/activate
Once the port out is confirmed at Metro, TracFone will deactivate your account immediately. So if your order from Metro didn't go through for some reason, you have to contact TracFone and ask them NICELY to give you another chance of porting out.

Infimobile ($8 - $15)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCLLC63F
$10 additional charge if you port out too early. Stay at least 7 days.

Boost Mobile ($5 - $10)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0F8FS1VVX
Boost mobile can be difficult to deal with. Expect 1 hour on the phone with them explaining why you want to port out. Be creative and don't mention phone deals from other carriers.

US Mobile $15
https://www.usmobile.com
Choose the unlimited welcome plan from Dark Star at $15/mo for first 3 months. If you customize the plan to get the cheapest price possible, you might face resistance.

Question: For Total Wireless phone deals you generally need to be a "new" customer.. I'm wondering for the Metro by T-Mobile deals.. anyone can share whether you need to be a "new" customer? or I can buy 1x iphone 16e port-in deal, 1x samsung s25fe port-in deal, and 1x motorola edge25 port-in deal as an "existing" customer? i wouldn't mind picking up all three for a low price.. but dunno if it's only for new customers or what like Total Wireless is..

It should. Enter the number and add it to cart. I checked with a Tello number and it worked.

So, I actually have 2 numbers to port if someone wants them. Maybe trade for $5 AGC each?
***EDIT***
Update to this. For some reason, Total Wireless (Verizon) numbers result in a $199 price for the phone. Very strange that the Tello (TMo) number resulted in the $99 price. In short, I have no numbers left for the $99 price.

I still have them. One Tello, and one (maybe 2) Total Wireless. Just click on my name to go to my profile and then click send a message. You might need to go to desktop site layout if on mobile.

I don't know what to tell you. Try a different browser maybe? 2 other people have already PMd me about them. I think I still have 1 number left, but not sure.
