Have had a couple of these push mowers (as 'edge' machines to complement riders) and dare I say you don't truly need self-propelled on these things, they're very light and easy to push, if the grass is regularly mowed. Even up grades, but self-propelled is nice if you spring for the extra $$. At this price, you're getting the mower close to free, battery and charger retail for close to this.

I've never seen an Ego mower this cheap. Is this a buy now, decide later kind of thing? Is this a bottom of the barrel mower?

Close...a solid electric mower, but no frills like Select Cut and other features on their pricier models.
