what's the catch? I've seen you have to pay duty taxes prior to pick up and pick up location are port of entry like L.A.

Even with taxes, shipping, tariffs, etc. this still is cheaper than an auction machine. Anecdotally I own an auction acquired CFG KU-45 3.5 ton machine made in China and it's been pretty solid. Removed 9 giant stumps from my front yard, dug 100ft of french drain trench, cleared an acre of blackberry, and cut in a 200ft 2 car wide dirt road up my property. Only problems so far was a thrown track(my fault), loose battery cable, and minor fuel tank leak. Controls are not smooth.

Didn't think I'd wake up seeing a Chinese excavator deal on here nor expect a resident expert on this. The joys of SD.

With an extreme distal source, and little to no feedback on reliability, on time delivery, complete shipment, accurate production/assembly/precision, return policy/timeframe/ethical standards, etc.; this encroaches upon throwaway money/investment.

this ^^ I assume this price is a down payment of sorts and you'll be required to pay the remainder on shipping
