I bought two of these for $180 total before tax on a lucky hp.com deal. barely broke even on sealed/new resale. So these may not be that hot at this price.

I could have told you not to do that. These have been in the $150 range for over a year. Just under the regular HP brand.

Strange that a staff posted deal for what you say is normal sale price (from hp via newegg) would be front page with only 15 upvotes.

Nothing suspicious here...

Not everyone knows OMEN is HP branding. But yea. Not happy this is a thing

I got the two pack of these last week when they were up here. 120+ hz, HDR (it's ok), fast ms, IPS panel, VRS, this is one of the best pairs of budget monitors I've ever owned.

Watch out for HP's Omen software to randomly install on your pc... Along the lines of that trash Razer software that Razer installs...

I had a Lenovo Legion laptop freezing and crashing, because of it... Used an HP as a main external monitor. Omen software kept re-installing after I removed it to. Had to block in task schedular...

Freesync was implemented by AMD as part of the standard protocol... A decade ago? Ish?

Nvidias custom expensive asic built into the monitor hasn't been a thing for a long time

What deal was this? I don't think I've seen them go lower than ~$150 each.

The hell...Why is a monitor installing anything anywhere? Is this a thing w/ higher tech monitors?

They've always been branded as OMEN from what I can tell with regards to the 27qz.

You are living under a rock if you do not know OMEN is HP unless you are just wanting a high refresh monitor for productivity or casual. Furthermore, you'd need SOMETHING to push QHD at 165Hz.
