I know this is now considered "cheap" but I couldn't even get through the 3 lb bag. it was disgusting.

As much as I love Costco and good deals on coffee. This bean is not good, very hard to make good coffee out of it.

My local Costco has Charleston Coffee Roasters. Much better. I have purchased a 2lb bag of this before and trashed it.

i have purchased their SF decaf before, it's very oily and hard and very dark roasted. just be aware it might not be the easiest to make good espresso.
Speaking of which, anyone has affordable decaf beans recommendation?

Our Costco used to carrier Ruta Maya medium roasted beans, in my opinion, it's the best beans I can get from Costco. They also have decaf version, but may not be found in their warehouse, you can order it online.

I enjoy this coffee. It's maybe not my favorite, but it's pretty close. And yeah, in the current pricing environment, this seems like a pretty good deal. Thanks, OP.

Totally agree. Even cold brew was not successful after a few attempts. I initiated a return and was told that I can keep the bags and will get a full refund.

Not coffee snobs, but drink a LOT. We make a mix of 50/50 reg/decaf beans every morning, and have been perfectly satisfied with the 5 lb bag of penny pinchers decaf beans from Amazon.
