I like the Nespresso Aeroccino and similar frothers but not being able to dishwasher was a pain. Link above is the style I settled on. Similar to the Secura posted by the OP, more expensive but never had a problem with it having enough power. Heats well, the hot chocolate function is nice, and the longer stem on the beater makes it much easier to put in and take out. 6 years in, used daily, and still going strong.
I have a frother that has lasted for 6+ years with every day use, but it was the unibody style that had a nonstick coating. Before I bought the above frother, I noticed black flecks in my milk and figured it was time to let it go before I poison myself. lol
