I have 2 of these chargers and they are great if you have good cells but they pulse charge, on 2 cells the pulses are as high as 1.5a. so they do provide current at a higher rate than some batteries can handle and will reject batteries that cannot take the high output but still might work for lower amp chargers.

Note that while these "Pro" Eneloops are rated for ~980mAh (15% more than the standard 850mAh Eneloop AAA), the Pro batteries are only rated for 500 cycles vs 2100 cycles on the standard ones. These are great if you want the highest-capacity rechargeable AAA, but if you're looking for maximum long-term durability might be best to stick with standard Eneloops.
