I actually bought this a year ago and it's been working great. Opted for it vs. the DJI mics and have zero complaints. I use a lapel mic and throw the tx modules in a pocket.

Those are not very similar. It's like buying a Toyota Corolla because a Tundra is too expensive. I have the DJI's and they are amazing, but spendy.

This thing even has internal UV LEDs to sanitize the mics so they don't smell like spit. Look at the top flip cover.

I got this as well but the only problem is the receivers battery doesn't last long and it's annoying because it actually takes power and it's nice that the rain is supposed to be much longer than one of the other lavalier mics but the battery life really sucks so it doesn't matter how long the mics battery lasts, the receiver is the problem. Makes it kind of useless for a long day unless you buy a few units and keep rotating them.

Bought the CM28 about 1.5 years ago and I use it lightly. Have been very satisfied. Sound quality is excellent.

I buy these for my student broadcast program. they're great for four reasons:

1) the audio is great for the price

2) it comes with an adapter for lightning, USB C, and can plug 3.5mm in

3) you can record directly onto the mic itself

4) you can plug a better microphone into it if you wanted, which makes for a cheap portable system when needed

I started with one for myself when needing backup audio for sermon/vows (was patched into DJ booth but wary about it). I've since bought several for my students

I use this with BlackMagic ATEM Mini Pro & Extreme ISO. I have the receiver plugged into USB power adapter, while audio is plugged into the 3.5mm audio jack. This comes with two mics, which I rotate.

For me, this has 95% quality of Rode wireless and DJI at a fraction of the price. Neewer is the budget alternative.
