I am still using it and its by far the best fan I've ever purchased. I've already gone through 4 box fans and 2-3 of those vertical standing fans.
That said, the blades are metal so if you have kids/pets it will cut things off - even on the lowest setting.
Sound levels according to my phone:
1 feet away (low): 69-72 db
1 feet away (medium): 75-78 db
1 feet away (high): 80-85 db
This thing MOVES air like no other standing fan out there in this class.
I clean it maybe 2x/yr and just lysol wipe the metal blades.
When this thing dies, eventually maybe in a couple of years as its showing no signs of slowing down, I'll buy another one same-day.
