I also hated the day/night system and that fact that you could miss content or are forced past content if you don't complete it by a certain timeframe.
I tried it because I loved Expedition 33 and wanted another turned based game to scratch the itch. This game failed to do that for me.

Aside from how dated it feels, it's also too long IMO. I've put over 70 hours into it and still haven't reached the end. With E33 I would play it any chance I got, but I've been avoiding finishing Metaphor.
It's a 7/10 max for me, mainly because of everything else outside of the combat.

They story seemed not engaging and kind of slow, at least the part I played in the demo.
I really wanted to like this game because persona 4 and 5 are some of my favorite games.
