Car tires are high volume low pressure. Bike tires are high pressure low volume. This pump doesn't have the power/battery or duty cycle to run long enough to put out the volume required to fill a car tire.

I returned the one I bought because battery seemed to die really quickly. Bought this one instead. But it was only $15 when I bought it. https://a.co/d/6gMMuY6

Would this work on car tires? What would happen? Just curious... I know you can get other ones for the car

I also like that the one you posted (NUSTE) can also charge a cell phone, unlike the Fanttik (according to reviews). If one is on a bicycle trip with a battery pack, it would be nice to have that functionality.

I think you mean inflatables rafts or air mattresses are high volume with low pressure such as which are <3psi and have a different inflation hose. Cars are typically 30-40 psi which is in the same range as wider bike tires or kids bike tires and have the same attachment hose.

For what it is, it's a pretty good price today. I picked up a larger tire inflator (prob 2x this size) for $10 a year and a half ago, somewhat similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DB17P1F5 and it's been good. I use it to top up the tires on the bike I ride on my (indoor) rollers.

I've learned that if you're okay with a 6-8 capital letter brand name on Amazon, you may as well put in a good description, sort by price low-high, and then quickly page through the accessories and crap on the first 5-6 pages until you find someone selling at or below cost to either get their brand started or dump inventory. Just know that Amazon will only give you about 7-8 pages of results sometimes, so you'll have to re-search using the $ range starting at the cost on the last page.

Here's a slightly cheaper version with similar size and specs, very possibly the same unit with a different shell, for $18. https://www.amazon.com/FYXGZZH-Pr...B0F2FD9SXM

Is is worth the time it took to find that vs saving an extra $5 for a less common product brand/packaging (OPs has been around for a year or more, starting somewhere over $75-100 for the size novelty)? Probably not in this case.

I'm always leery of the random amazon sellers on anything with a rechargeable battery. If you want to go that route, I'd charge it, and keep it stored in a fire-proof container. Too often these cheap devices cut corners on the battery protection circuitry and/or use batteries that don't handle their rated charge and discharge rates well.
