I saw a video on youtube once where there was a home with farm like backyard (homestead) with various animals such as goats, pigs, chicken, dogs, and others playfully chasing and jumping around made me feel they were safe and truely happy. I felt those animals were more blessed than most humans in this world. Some owners spend more money feeding and taking care of their animals more than themselves.
Unfortunately that's not the situation for many domesticated animals but if dogs can speak, I believe many will prefer to be with a loving humans than being in the wild.
