Will these work in a Keurig?
Nope, these are for nespresso original machines (not Vertuo or anything else)

How do you feel these compare with other Nespresso pods?

I got 100 Nespresso for $55 on Woot. If you do not need it now, maybe worth to wait for Woot. Often on sale there.

Not sure why this is getting so many thumbs up, not really a killer deal.

It's an okay price, but ~$0.73/capsule is close to the fairly regular (20%) sale price direct from Nespresso, which works out to $076/ea.

I think because it is a variety pack, many Nespresso deals tend to be for one flavor. As for direct from Nespresso, not sure their shipping min. costs, but everyone gets free shipping at Amazon on these too. And finally, everyone pretty much has an Amazon account, not everyone wants to fool with ordering from Nespresso.

My only regret with buying a Nespresso machine after my Keurig broke is the cost of its pods. I sometimes could find a 50 ct. on Ebay for $28.00/free shipping but not anymore.

As a KEURIG user, I've always been curious just how much better a cup of coffee from a Nespresso pod could be to justify double or even more than triple the cost of a K-Cup pod?

I mean, I don't mind indulging here and there but since I drink 2 cups of coffee a day, it really would add up quickly.

and the vertuo type is even more I think.

They're fundamentally different. Can you tell the difference between drip coffee vs an espresso? Kuerig is more akin to drip coffee while Nespresso is more like espresso.

I was once a Kuerig user until I walked into a Nespresso store. I have both the Orginal and the Vertuo line machines. To me, it was worth the upgrade. Still cheaper than getting a cup of coffee or an espresso at Starbucks or local coffee shop.
