FYI - this type of toothbrush head is prone to developing mold well before the 3 month replacement interval. Both brand names & off brand replacement heads.

That said, I started used an ultrasonic cleaner + cleaning tablets for a night guard and started throwing these tooth brush heads in there... This is the only thing that seemed to keep mold from growing.

I have both an oral b battery operated electric toothbrush (not this charcoal one) & aquasonic one from amazon. The aquasonic does a better job at removing plaque with less effort but the vibrations are too much. I much prefer the oral b even though it's louder. Just get some 3rd party head replacements for cheap.
