Regarding the 1:3 ratio mix, my family rejects the end result and says it's not the same. It doesn't "feel right" or "feel as clean".

They are fine with the target or Walmart alternatives, which are cheaper than this.

BUT he is actually right about them just diluting soap and putting a foaming agent in there ... if you do a side by side comparison the foaming one lasts half the time ...
there's no evidence saying that antibacterial soaps do anything beyond normal soap hence why the FDA banned 24 antibacterial ingredients in soap:

For recommendations on minimum length of time necessary, CDC recommends 20 seconds of scrubbing with soap and water or rubbing until evaporated (20-30 seconds) with a 60% alcohol-based sanitizer.

Careful doing this. I got corrected by a chemist when I suggested this before, they insisted that you're potentially creating a toxic mix since the soap is specifically formulated, and it won't clean as well.
I can understand why it wouldn't clean as well but why would it be toxic??
