Fwiw, with the way this faucet is designed with a flat spout/handle, when you wash your hands and proceed to cut off water, water gets on those flat surfaces and doesn't roll off but sits there and causes water stains. I personally prefer the rounded spout/handle as any dripped water can easily roll off. Hope this helps.

I have this faucet and your comment is spot on (pun not intended). The chrome fixture looks beautiful though.

I still have a water softener project just waiting in the garage with cation resins.
