The lens is sold OOS, so not much to say for a potential buyer, but just for the sake of community knowledge, let me add a few lines:

- This is a very specialized lens (Anamorphic) and absolutely not for everyone.
- This lens can NOT be easily adapted to DSLRs (Say Canon EF/ Nikon N/ Sony A/ Pentax K) unless you get a specialized adapter that has internal negative diopter glass to make infinity focusing possible on a Mirrorless camera body.
Why? Simple physics:
  • eg. an EF lens has a longer flange distance (44mm).
  • L-Mount has a much shorter flange distance (20mm).
So there is extra 24mm distance that needs to be eliminated, and the only way is to incorporate a concave (Negative) glass. To push the lens 24mm closer to the sensor, which you physically can't do.
❌ What is wrong with this?
The optical used in a cheap adapter is so poor that it significantly degrades image quality and also adds to the F-numbere,r reducese passing light.

SO...WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF an ANAMORPHIC lens?
Nothing but to have a line of reflection from any sharp point of light at night! That resembles some of the older Cinema effects, but to get this, one needs to do a lot more than simply adding a lens to the camera body.

In short and if you don't have a dedicated camera with L mount (Newer digital era Leica, Some rare Sigma/Panasonic/Very Limited DJI), and you didn't buy this lens, the you made yourself a great favor and a big saving!
